This guide is intended for users who cannot make their RainbowMS run through Windows 8. (This may or may not work, depending on the situation you are in. This is just another method of running your RainbowMS on Windows 8.) Usually Windows 8 users get this kind of error, Option 1 : Try to restart your computer and open the client first. (Do not open any other applications, ex. skype, google chrome since it would occupy the space) Option 2 : Right click your RainbowMS client ~> Properties ~> Compatibility ~> change your compatibility to Windows 7, XP SP2 or XP SP3 (don't use Windows 98 and Windows 95 ME). If this doesn't work, you might need to try it for a couple of times before it works. Option 3 : Change your compatibility to Windows 7 and tick reduced color mode on the compatibility section of your client and change it to 8-bit 265 color. This option needs a couple of tries before it works. Option 4 : Change compatibility to Windows XP SP3 and tick reduced color mode, particularly 16-bit 65536 color. This option also needs a couple of tries before it works.
